Banks, whose brother is in prison, seeks refuge with his father's friend, rancher Jaxson—the man he's secretly loved since childhood. Jaxson resists, but Banks' teasing heats things up: barn chases, bath scrubs, mud fights. By day Banks plays nice; by night he's dancer "Flame" investigating his father's death. Jaxson is gravely injured saving Banks. Finally, he accepts his love. Age and status fall away—they find their happy ending.
